    Both properties are located within walking distance of many of Douglas' fine area attractions. These include: the Wyoming State Fair grounds, the Wyoming Pioneer Musuem, the Douglas Area Chamber of Commerce/Railroad Interpretive Center, Odd Fellows Hall, and the Heritage Trail that follows the North Platte River.

    Other Douglas attractions include the Douglas Water Park, the Sir Barton Memorial, the Douglas International Raceway and Fort Fetterman.

 
    For outdoor enthusiasts, Laramie Peak, Ayres Natural Bridge Park and Esterbrook are all just a short drive away.
